Pulp and paper mill waste shredding and recycling systems
Paper mills routinely generate large amounts of waste (pulp rope) that primarily ends up in landfills. However, in recent years, this waste has been recognized as a potential source of secondary raw materials. This waste from the paper industry primarily consists of steel wire, which can be recycled and reused with appropriate shredding technology.Depending on specific needs, ENMA's equipment incorporates multiple shredding stages to efficiently shred stubborn steel wire, waste plastics, and pulp. The powerful equipment and its wear-resistant cutting tools completely remove metal (up to 40% of the material content). Subsequent separation processes separate the impurities into their various components, and the thermal energy material can be further processed to produce alternative fuels.
